Stoves and Ovens

TODO: document the summer 2025 issues and the good/bad technicians

bad: Mr. Appliance Lexington (sus, required credit card to book, more expensive, tried to charge for replacement before finding problem)

good: Dells Appliance Medford (referred to by Eversource, cheaper, professional and super efficient)

Vitamix Blender

The vitamix blender has an switch on the right side that you need to flip before using. To turn it on make sure the blender pitcher is properly fitted on the base and that the lid is on. Make sure the dial is at 0, then you can toggle the switch to the right of the dial up to on, while turning the dial up to your desired speed. To clean it you blend some water and a little bit of soap and then spray it down.

Food Processor

Robot Coupe food processor acquired July 2025! Replacing previous processor, plastic bowl kept cracking and then the safety broke, requiring sticking a screwdriver into the safety to activate (sus)

Rice Cooker

Stand Mixer

Immersion Blender

Spice Grinder

Slow Cookers

We have four slow cookers. They are black and oval shaped. They each have a removable ceramic pot, lid, and cooker. They are very easy to use, you just plug them in and can set them to either warm, low and high. To clean them you can just remove the ceramic pots and wash them.
